Enhanced Language Statistics – Now Even More Convenient and Intuitive!
Want to know which languages your visitors actually use? Our latest Language Statistics update makes it easier than ever! With automatic language grouping, you’ll get clear, useful insights to help you make the best localization decisions—no guesswork needed!
A few days ago, we introduced a brand-new feature: Language Statistics. If you haven’t read our article about it yet, we highly recommend checking it out! This tool helps website owners understand which languages their visitors use, allowing them to make informed decisions about localization. Today, we have exciting news—we’ve made it even more user-friendly, logical, and easy to interpret!

Previously, languages in the statistics were displayed without grouping, which sometimes made analysis more challenging. For example, if your website was visited by users with Spanish set as their browser language, but one was in Spain and another in the United States, they would appear as separate entries in the report. However, in reality, website owners are often more concerned with the preferred language of their visitors rather than their exact geographic location.
To address this, languages are now automatically grouped to simplify data analysis. For instance, the "French" category now includes users with browsers set to French from France, Canada, Belgium, and other regions. Similarly, German-speaking users from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland are now all categorized under "German."

Why Does This Matter?
  • First, it allows you to gain a clearer and more accurate understanding of your audience’s language preferences. Instead of sifting through multiple individual entries, you now get a streamlined and insightful report that highlights the most relevant languages among your visitors.
  • Second, this grouping helps you make smarter localization decisions. With a clear picture of your audience’s needs, you can confidently prioritize language versions that will have the greatest impact while deprioritizing those that may not be necessary yet.
  • We’re confident that this update will make working with Language Statistics simpler and more effective. Try it out, analyze the data, and localize your website wisely!
